The Chris Bledsoe Experience • Cabinet No. 2

The Debunk
Gauntlet

You did it. Eighteen years of porch-light smears and you finally got one in focus — sharp, dated, contextual, and you were sober. The review board congratulates you. The review board also has bad news about what happens next, and it is not the government.

It is in focus. That was supposed to be the hard part.

Your evidence — each card plays once 10 in hand

Tap a card once to arm it, again to play it. Spend nothing you'll need later.

The Photograph Is Fine.

Sharp. Dated. Wide enough to have a treeline in it. Shot on a night with a public weather record and a public sky. You did everything right, for once, in this entire field.

At 22:16 the first reply arrives, and then eight more, and they are not stupid — most of them are the exact objections that correctly demolished a thousand blurry lights before yours. You have ten cards and there are nine replies. Do the arithmetic and then do it again, because one of those cards is worth nothing and two of them are worth less than nothing.

And somewhere late in the thread there is one reply that no document on this earth answers. You will know it. Everyone knows it. Almost nobody does the right thing about it.

WING DOCTRINE: We do not doubt the orbs, we never have, and we have said so at volume. Our grievance has always been procedural — eighteen years of the most cooperative phenomenon in history and no one kept a clean file. This cabinet is the other half of that complaint. Because the moment a witness does keep a clean file, we ask him to defend it alone, at midnight, unpaid, against strangers, forever. The paperwork is the price of being believed, and we charge it only to the people who saw something.
